Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone
Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of Sonprayag Kedarnath Ropeway project today ropeway to be built at a cost of about 946 crores. The National Highway Logistics Management Limited’s engineer associated with the project said that the Prime Minister was informed about the project through videography and photography. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Kedarnath for the sixth time today and had darshan of Baba Kedar. He stayed here for two and a half hours. And after that left for Badrinath Dham. The Prime Minister will present a connectivity project worth Rs 3400 crore to Uttarakhand today.

Kedarnath Ropeway Project
The Kedarnath Ropeway will be the Longest Ropeway in World which will be build in 11750 ft. altitude . estimated cost to build the ropeway will be 1000cr. Kedarnath ropeway will be operation for 8 hours daily during the Kedarnath yatra season between may to November. Ropeway will be able to transport 2000
devotees per hours to Kedarnath and back.
