The name of Rudradhari Falls and Caves is said to have been derived from a combination of the names of Lord Shiva, called Rudra, and the name of Lord Vishnu, called Hari. One of the top places for trekking in Kausani and one of the top places to visit in Kausani Rudradhari Falls and Cave Temple .

There is a small cave temple situated near the waterfall where Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu worshiped. The name Rudradhari has been derived from the Hindu gods Rudra (Lord Shiva) and Hari (Vishnu) as according to the Puranic stories this place relate to these gods.

How to Reach Rudradhari Falls ?

You can reach this place only through trekking. As it is located on the way of Kausani to Almora, one can come to Kantali village in any vehicles and from there visitors have to trek 2 km to reach this place.
It will take 2 hours to finish the trek.

Rudradhari Falls & Temple are located about 10 km from Kausani Bus Stop on Kausani – Almora Road, Uttarakhand.
