Rajaji and Jim Corbett in Uttarakhand Opens For Tourists

Every year on November 15 the gates of Corbett and Rajaji National Park open for tourists. This year too the gates have been opened for the public. The Dhikala zone of Corbett National Park has been opened whereas, the Motichur and Cheela Range entrances of the Rajaji National Park has been opened for tourists on November 15.
Preparation of opening Corbett and Rajaji National Parks
Motichur Range Officer Mahendra Giri Goswami said that the gateway for the public is opened on November 15 every year. The administration of the national park has made full preparations for welcoming the tourists.
Entry fees of Rajaji National Park
The entry fee of Rajaji National Park has not been increased due to the pandemic period. The entry fee remains unchanged which is Rs 150 per person. The fare for doing Jungle Safari has also not been increased and remains the same at Rs 250 per person. Also, a 50 percent of discount has been offered to senior citizens, school children, and minors.
Jungle Safari in Corbett’s Dhikala Zone started
On the opening day of Dhikala Zone of Corbett National Park, around 275 tourists who showed up went for Jungle Safari. MLA Diwan Singh Bisht sent tourists for a Jungle safari from Dhangarhi Gate. As per Deputy Forest Officer first day saw 123 tourists from eight canters and 152 tourists from 41 gypsies going to Dhikala for Night Jungle Safari.
