Dehradun Metro Neo Preparations have been intensified to bring Metro Neo in the capital . Uttarakhand government is seeking to get approval from Delhi . At the same time, a separate TOD policy regarding land acquisition in the state has also been approved in the cabinet meeting. There will be a total of 25 stations in Dehradun Metro , the area around which will be developed with multi-storey buildings. Dehradun Metro station will be build in every Kilometer and in many places, a station will be built in every 500 meters. The government will need at least 60 meters long space for the station.

Uttarakhand Metro Rail Corporation Limited has also estimated the metro traffic in the DPR of Metro Neo. By 2026, approx 2 Lakh passengers is expected to travel on both the routes in Dehradun Metro. The coaches of Metro Neo will will be of 12 meters length, in which maximum 90 passengers will be able to travel. The second coach will be of 24 to 25 meters, in which 225 passengers will be able to travel. The width of these coaches will be 2.5 meters. The speed of Metro Neo will be 70 kilometers per hour. Similarly, the length of each station will be up to 60 metres.

  • ISBT TO Gandhi Park – ISBT, Sewla Kalan, ITI Dehradun, Chaman Puri, Lalpur, Pathri Bag, Railway Station, Dehradun Court, Ghanta Ghar, Gandhi Park
  • FRI To Raipur: FRI, Ballupur Chowk, IMA Blood Bank, Doon School, Malhotra Bazar, Ghantaghar, CCMC, Araghar Chowk, Nehru Colony, Vidhan Sabha, Upper Badrish Colony, Upper Nathanpur, Ordnance Factory, Hathikhana Chowk and Raipur.
