State Foundation Day will be celebrated as Uttarakhand Festival on 9 November
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami held a meeting with the officials at the CM residence regarding the state foundation day to be held on November 9. During this, he gave many instructions to the officials regarding the state foundation day. CM Dhami said that the state foundation day should be organized as Uttarakhand Mahotsav. During this festival to be held for a week, programs should be organized from the capital to the Nyaya Panchayat level.
Remarkable Contribution will be Rewarded
CM Dhami, in a meeting with the officials, said that in the Uttarakhand Mahotsav, eminent people who have made remarkable contributions in various fields for the pride of Uttarakhand should be rewarded. The CM directed that programs should be organized in a better way during the festival organized on the occasion of State Foundation Day.
He said that not the number of programs, attention should be paid to organizing with quality and dignity.
The CM gave instructions while receiving information about the programs to be organized in the districts from the concerned commissioners and district magistrates through video conferencing. CM asked the officers to use their discretion and experience in the implementation of development plans as per the expectations related to the state interest of PM Modi and in the implementation of future plans to include Uttarakhand among the leading states in terms of development. CM said that we all have to be partners in the overall development of Uttarakhand.
The CM also stressed on the preparation of a department wise vision for the development of the state. In the meeting, Secretary General Administration Department Vinod Kumar Suman presented the outline of the proposed programs. He said that on the special occasion of 21st State Foundation Day celebrations, ‘State Foundation Day’ would be organized at Police Lines, Dehradun on November 9, 2021 from 9.55 am to 11.30 am in which Uttarakhand Police personnel would participate. The salute of the parade will be taken by the Governor. After the parade, there will be an address by the Governor and the CM.
